The 5541 PIN diode driver is a convenient way to drive high current PIN diodes with sub-microsecond switching speed and enough back bias capability to satisfy nearly any demand.
12/01/09 — Output current is user-adjustable in the range of 0 to 1 Ampere, and switching speed can be as fast as 500 nsec, depending on diode load characteristics. The unit is available in a 1.9 inch by 1.7 inch by .45 inch form factor, which includes an integral heatsink and four through-holes for 4-40 bolting. The unit comes rated for -55C to +85C operation.
